Is their a special or differant name for woman that have a extra hard time going through menopause?
I have a sister that is phychoic (mental illness) involved in it, that wasn’t their before.
I thought their might be a name for it, so I can look it up on the internet.

During menopause some women do experience the psychotic mood swings…lol. Its not a laughing matter but men seem to think it is. Hormones play a huge role in causing the moodiness depressive episodes, etc. Your sister needs to be seen by a gynocologist to be placed on hormone replacement therapy(hormone pills). I went through menopause at age 25 due to having a hysterectomy I wasn’t a pleasent person to be around but with replacement hormones I am much better now. gl
no there is not special name. Menopause can affect her hormones if she is on medication for mental illness. The doctor needs to know she is going through menopause to adjust her medication.
