I’m only 25 but I’ve been having symptoms of menopause, is this even possible? I’ve had problems with my period ever since I got it, so I wouldn’t be surpised! Thanks.

Here’s a link on Premature Ovarian Failure aka Premature Menopause:http://www.4woman.gov/menopause/stages/p…

You more likely have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
    Here’s a link for that:http://www.4woman.gov/faq/pcos.htm
Don’t be affraid to talk to your gynecologist about this. You’ve got something going on hormonally. It needs checked out.
If you had symptoms for diabetes would you feel silly for seeing a doctor? Well, this is the same type of thing. Your body isn’t giving you what it needs.

Don’t be embarrassed, please go see a doctor.

  3. Yes, it’s possible although it’s not very likely. It could be something else. What you do need to do is speak with your doctor or gynocologist about the symptoms that you are experiencing.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? There are a lot of websites and books out there on menopause which is basically the ovaries ceasing to function and produce estrogen/hormones. I find it unlikely that your ovaries would naturally stop functioning at such a young age.

Its entirely possible. While the “norm” is after the age of 40, some women experience premature menopause…and this can happen (while rare) as early as 16!!
The best way of knowing is to go the store and buy a test called MenoCheck. Since you’re not taking hormonal BC, it would be a good time to test.

  6. Most likely it is all the stress from the move. It can cause hormornal imbalances in a woman’s body and can make your period irregular.

yes it is possible .my moms friend already went through menopause and she was 29 years old at the time.it all depends on your body i suppose .but it is quite rare.it could also be due to something else like hormonal changes in your body or maybe even sudden weight loss.the best would be to talk to your doctor.
