For oral estrogen vs. transdermal (patch) estrogen. No real advantage, except more convenient. It’s worse for your heart and also more likely to have negative effects on libido than patch estrogen.
But taking estrogen vs. not taking any estrogen: quality of life improvement. But raises very slightly risk of cancer. Lowers risk of osteoporosis.
