My period stopped last November, I was glad and enjoyed the freedom for 6months. Only to have it return on time this month with its regular 4 days. Whats up?

Menopause affects people in different ways. It isn’t unusual for periods to stop for a few months and then to start up again. My understanding is that you need to have had NO periods whatsoever for a continuous period of about a year to be said to have gone through the menopause completely and therefore be at no risk of pregnancy.
If you are at all concerned, a trip to the doctor should put your mind at rest.
If you truly went into menopause you would not be getting another period. I would think this is something to discuss with your gynecologist ASAP, especially since you haven’t had a period for six months. Make that appointment to get this sorted out before it starts causing any problems for you. Good luck.
Maybe it wasn’t just menopause your period stopped for 6 months for some reason
