41 is pretty young to be in the menopausal phase of missed periods. I would suspect it is the medication you are taking. Did you miss a full cycle? I am 45 and I too have suffered from heavy periods throughout my fertile life. I have yet to miss a period but they are changing, I don’t flow as heavy as i once did , and last month I had 2 periods within a 30 day cycle. one was mild and short lived the second one was quite painful indeed. So they are changing for me, but i have yet to skip one (sigh) . Keep calander track of your cycles so you know how many days exactly are between your periods. You can chart how they are changing or varying or not. But you maybe one of those rare women that ceases menustration extremely early in life, However, missing only one so far it is hard to tell. If this pattern continues take it up with your physcian so he can administer the apropriate tests to see exactly where you are in the menopausal big picture . Listen to your body and report any concerns to your doctor. The 4th decade of a womans life… its been kinda tough for me.. and you? Cheers!
