    It depends on the person and family history. My mother started peri-menopause in her early 40′s (about 41, I think) and I’ve had hot flashes & night sweats for nearly a year and I’m only 38. My sister (32) has already gone through it completely, but she’s an odd case (premature menopause).

    depends on the individual. i would say in their 50′s with some being earlier and some being later.
