? I have had this issue twice in the last year, the doctor gave me premarin cream which seems to work for a time but the symptoms come back. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have when I went on a birth control pill that was very low in estrogen. I was very uncomfortable especially with the pain so my doctor gave me some Lidocaine gel to help that area.
It’s also possible that this could be an indication of a hormone imbalance going on such as low estrogen levels. Ask your doctor about the possibility of testing your hormone levels to see what’s going on.
