I missed a period, then two, then three. Pregnancy test says no. No other noticeable symptoms. What could possibly be the reason for amenhorragia?

overweight and stress too will trigger miss periods. i would see a doctor.
Hormones are out of balance. Although I think her motives and goals are out of whack you might want to read the book by Suzann Summers “Ageless”. It has some good information on hormones. Thyroid problems could cause this too.
how old are you?also if you gain weight or are stress out,it will stop also.
Drastic fluctuations in weight can do that to you as well as stress. Go see the doctor, they will probably put you on a series of hormone pills to get you going, depending on your age menopause may be a concern, I would go check with the doctor.
if you are underweight, your periods may stop too…
It could also be PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)…or what was said above. If you notice weight gain, increased facial hair, hair loss or a feeling of “doughiness” you should look into this.
There are some other more rare things it could be. Your doctor can do a very easy test to see if it is menopause. You would probably know by now if it is–the hot flashes are pretty unmistakable, and you may not be able to sleep well at night if you are going through menopause.
It’s worth a trip to see the old GYN.
