Does The Age A Woman Starts Her Period Determine When She’ll Start Menopause?

I feel kinda silly asking this.. but
If a girl starts her period at a young age.. will she go through menopause at a younger age than a girl who began her period later?
Or will the opposite occur?
thanks so much!

I think it depends both on your physical health and family history.
Over the years as nutrition has improved it has become common for girls to get their periods younger than their mothers did.
I’ve heard of some women who do not become menopausal until they’re in their 60s!

    She might.
    Look at family history.
There is no set amount of years a women will menstruate.

I don’t believe that anyone knows the answer to that just yet.
