Can Menopause Be Considered A “serious Health Condition” And Covered By The Family Medical Leave Act?

Have researched FMLA on web and unable to find any reference to menopause being a covered condition. Was wondering if anyone could provide clarification as to whether it could be covered.

the only way you would be covered under fmla is if you needed to have surgery to help your menopause. thats when it when be covered is when you needed recovery time for that, not for the symptoms.
No, I sure would not think that menopause would be considered a “serious health condition” and covered under the FMLA.
